Description
Duo-Gen’s air drive uses a bevel gear set to translate the rotation of the air blades through 90° to the drive shaft.
The gear set comprises one metal and one plastic gear. This combination is used because it runs quietly.
Note that the plastic gear will wear more quickly than the metal gear so very often replacing the plastic gear only is sufficient to restore the air drive to full working order.
Each gear is supplied complete with an integral roller bearing, full fitting instructions, bearing grease and sundry parts.
